How I became a Full-Stack Developer: My Journey, Principles, and Hobbies
The Beginning: My First Website (2011)
My journey in web development began in 2011 when I first tried creating a website on Joomla. At that time, I was working as a sales manager at a company that sold and serviced climate control equipment—it didn't have its own website, so I decided to fix that.
Initially, the plan was to make a simple business-card style website, but within a few months it started attracting real clients. That's when I realized that the Internet is not just a tool but an effective channel for business growth.
Since then, each of my offline projects was accompanied by a website I developed on my own. I was inspired not only by the development process itself but also by the tangible results that contributed to business growth. With every new project, I aimed to improve quality and efficiency.
From Business to an IT Career
I was involved in entrepreneurial activities for a long time and realized that the demand for online business solutions would only continue to grow. Web development was always a key part of my journey—I built websites for myself and never missed an opportunity to develop them for my fellow entrepreneurs. I experimented with new technologies and constantly refined my work approach.
In 2023, I decided to fully focus on the IT field and streamline my accumulated experience. To achieve this, I completed professional Full-Stack development courses, which helped me fill in the gaps in my knowledge and master new technologies. In addition, I gained experience as a Scrum Master and Team Lead, which strengthened my teamwork skills. During my studies, I landed my first commercial job as a frontend developer, and soon transitioned into a Full-Stack role.
Continuous development and a practical approach
Today, my skill set allows me to create market-relevant projects and find optimal solutions for businesses. I regularly take courses from leading global companies, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and continually expand my professional competencies.
My development journey was logical and deliberate: my entrepreneurial background gives me insight into how important concrete results, reliability, and efficiency are to clients.
